TradersPivot Privacy Policy

Our data commitment

Your trading records and private content remain yours. TradersPivot does not sell, rent, trade, or license personal information.

We do not sell or provide trading data, account history, private reflections, trade notes, or Pivot conversations to prop firms, brokers, advertisers, data brokers, or commercial data customers.

We do not create advertising profiles, use customer information for targeted advertising, track users across other companies apps and websites, or use third-party behavioral analytics or session replay services.

Data we collect

Account information such as your email address, optional display name, account identifier, timezone, and settings.

Trading and account data you enter or import, including trades, balances, account rules, performance, notes, tags, and methodology information.

Private user content such as journal entries, State of Mind reflections, discipline notes, Pivot messages, and PDF statements you choose to upload.

Subscription records such as your plan, billing status, renewal date, and Apple or Stripe customer, product, subscription, and transaction identifiers. TradersPivot does not receive your complete payment card number.

Essential security and service records such as IP address, user agent, request time, API route, response status, request identifier, authentication events, errors, and performance diagnostics needed to operate and protect the service.

AI allowance records such as feature category, token counts, and estimated provider cost. Cost records do not include prompt text, private reflections, uploaded files, or raw trades.

How we use data

We use this data to authenticate your account, provide the features you request, calculate and display analytics, process selected imports, operate optional AI features after consent, maintain subscription access, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, communicate about the service, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.

We may use high-level operational totals, such as subscriber counts, service error rates, and infrastructure or AI costs, to operate TradersPivot. These totals are not sold and do not include private trading content.

Optional AI data sharing

Before personal data is sent to Anthropic, PBC for an AI feature, TradersPivot identifies the data categories involved and asks for explicit permission. Shared data can include your profile name and timezone, trading and account data, notes and methodology, journal and State of Mind content, Pivot messages, and PDF statements selected for AI-assisted import.

Your password, complete payment card number, and email address are not intentionally included in AI feature requests. AI sharing is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can decline and keep using non-AI features, or turn off future AI sharing in Settings.

Service providers

Amazon Web Services provides hosting, encrypted storage, authentication, service logs, and transactional email infrastructure.

Anthropic, PBC processes optional AI analysis and AI-assisted PDF extraction only after permission.

Apple processes App Store subscription purchases, entitlements, and Apple sign-in when selected.

Stripe processes subscriptions obtained outside the iOS app. Google provides authentication when selected. Lovable deploys and delivers the TradersPivot website and web app.

We do not permit these providers to use customer content for their own advertising or to sell customer content. We may disclose limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with a valid legal obligation, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or establish or defend legal claims.

Retention and deletion

Active account data is retained while needed to provide the service. The Delete Account action in iOS Settings immediately removes the account identity, active TradersPivot records, pending uploaded statements, and the associated Stripe customer record when present.

Uploaded PDF statements are deleted after processing and expire automatically within 24 hours. Temporary parse records expire after about one hour. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups and security logs can remain for their limited retention period, generally no more than 35 days, and are not used for ordinary product operation.

Limited legal acceptance, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, and dispute records may be retained when reasonably required.

Your choices

You can edit profile and trading information, turn off future AI sharing, delete individual records where supported, and permanently delete your account in Settings. You can request access, correction, portability, restriction, or deletion at privacy@traderspivot.com. Rights vary by location, and we may need to verify your identity.

Tracking and children

The iOS app does not use data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. TradersPivot is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Security and contact

We use HTTPS in transit, AWS encryption at rest, authenticated access controls, protected secrets, and service logging. No system can guarantee absolute security.
